Ace Hood – Take It There
Didn’t take Ace Hoooooooooooood as a “Star Wars” fan. But the Broward native drops a quick and promises Starvation 2 will be coming soon.
Joey BADA$$ Feat. Chuck Strangers – FromDaTomb$ (video)
Still rolling with 1999, Joey BADA$$ releases the final video off the mixtape as he is still going in on his upcoming project PRO ERA coming out in December.
Platini – A Man Of Few Words (Mixtape)
After releasing “Scary Movie” featuing SIN and MeRCY, fellow Broward County representative Platini releases his latest mixtape A Man of Few Words. A little of over a month ago I rated Platini one of the Top 10 Rappers in Broward County for the Broward-Palm Beach New Times, and his latest effort still has me looking good, and I appreciate that a lot. I would hate to look like a fool. Anyways, show some support for local talent and check out the 10-track mixtape.
Young Dro and Turk Freestyle on Atlanta’s Streetz 94.5 With DJ Holiday
Mannnn, it’s good to see Turk finally free. Never thought he really got a fair shot when Juvenile, B.G. and Lil Wayne had already started to rise. The former Hot Boy stops by to kick it with DJ Holiday and Young Dro, who I believe it too underrated, to drop a little freestyle.
Curren$y – Priest Andretti (Mixtape)
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! After dropping the news a little over a week ago about a new mixtape, Curren$y has released the highly anticipated Priest Andretti. And aside from the usual Jet Life family, Trademark, Young Roddy, Fiend and Corner Boy P, Spitta has recruited fellow buddies Styles P, King Chip and Noreaga for the 14-track project.
Curren$y – Talk My Shit
With just a few hours until Priest Andretti set to be released, Curren$y gives us a little taste of what’s to come with “Talk My Shit.”
Kendrick Lamar – The Jig Is Up (prod. J. Cole & Conei Finch)
I pray to God this beat is good enough for Shyne!
Oh, how this track would’ve made good kid, m.a.a.d. city that much better. If you haven’t heard the album then, something is seriously wrong with you. But Kendrick Lamar drops a free track for fans produced by Conei Finch and his homie J. Cole. I seriously hope their collaborative project drops soon.
Ludacris Feat. Kelly Rowland – Representin (video)
First off, Kelly Rowland is just too sexy. Always been my favorite of the Destiny Child members. That aside, Ludacris puts it down with the visuals for the grown and sexy track off his up-and-coming album, Ludaversal.
Game Feat. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony – Celebration (Remix)
Who didn’t see this one coming since the original “Celebration” was sampled from “1st of the Month.” But if you didn’t, Game connects with all 5 Bone Thug memberes, Wish, Krazyie, Flesh, Layzie and Bizzy, for the remix. The track is the first of several Game will release every Sunday as a part of his #SundayService series as he prepares to release his upcoming project, Jesuse Piece, on December 11.
