One of my boys Khris Audio put me on to Skyzoon a while back and I haven’t been disappointed since. A truly underrated MC this guy is. In addition, South Florida’s QuESt will be opening up for the Brooklyn lyricist tonight.

Doors open up at 8:30 pm and costs $15 at the door, less than what it should go for in my opinion.

Case Arnold – Care Free (Video)

Random as fuck that I saw this cat Case Arnold by checking out a tweet from the dudes over at Jedstarz/Kloud Clothing. I can’t lie, I’m feeling this song and video, which is directed by Ryan Snyder. It’s pretty laid back. Let’s see if Case continues to bring it in the future.

Maybach Music Group’s newest addition Stalley will hit the stage for a live performance at Club Eve in Miami April 16, this time as a headliner. The Cleveland native will be coming off the release of his mixtape, Savage Journey To America, just a week prior to the show, so attendees will be in for some new material.

Opening up for Stalley will be Wes Fif, Vurn, iRep D-Leage and the little homie Robb Bank$, who will be performing live for the very first time. If you haven’t downloaded that Calendars mixtape yet, then smack yourself with a stapler.

And a big shout out to the little homies, the Daily Chiefers, for sponsoring this concert.

Interview: Asher Roth

In my opinion Asher Roth is one of the most underrated lyricists out there. People just won’t take him seriously, and if you don’t, you need to check out dude on Pabst and Jazz. I got a chance to talk to Asher while he was on the road taking care of business for his “Final Four” tour and got a chance to talk about his move to Def Jam, being a huge fan of March Madness and the parties that come after the shows. Here’s a sample of my article “Asher Roth: Signing With Def Jam, Crashing Parties, and the ‘Final Four'”…

“What we wanted to do was incorporate my sports fandom and live show, which are kind of a whole package deal and a whole experience,” says Roth. “And then have postgame parties afterwards.”

And party he did.

After making out with female students on stage and trying to light fires in Gainesville, Roth, along with his friend and DJ, crashed a couple of parties on campus.

Joey Bada$$ x Capital Steez – Survival Tactics (video)

I caught wind of Joey Bada$$ by accident on YouTube. A couple of days later I saw him on MTV as this video was being critiqued by Odd Future. For those who yearn for the good ol’ days of New York hip-hop then pay attention to this kid. He is scheduled to drop his first mixtape , 1999, soon. I can’t wait to see what else this kid has in store.
