Rockie Fresh – Reach For The Stars

MMG signee Rockie Fresh dropped a new track today called “Reach For The Stars”. Give it a listen below.

…I’m just not so sure about this Dub-Step shit he tried to sprinkle into the song. Don’t get me wrong; I love the genre, whole-heartedly. Still, all that lame-ass, redundant Skrillex-sounding bullshit where you’d think there’s two microwaves having sex in the hotel room next door…it’s just not for me. Force-feeding these outside-of-Hip-Hop TRENDS into Rap is tacky as fuck, to me. But oh well… diff’rent strokes for diff’rent folks, right?

Rick Ross featuring Dr. Dre & Jay-Z – 3 Kings (Video)

On the day of the release of his new album God Forgives, I Don’t, Rick Ross drops a video for the single “3 Kings”, featuring juggernauts Dr. Dre and Jay-Z. For the most part, it’s a montage of some classic and semi-recent footage of all these cats over the years. It can get nostalgic at times.

I can’t vouch for the ENTIRE album… but I will say this track is far ahead in my preference as opposed to a lot of other songs on GF,ID.

New video drop from Ricky Rozay with “Hold Me Back”, just two days before the release of his new album God Forgives, I Don’t.

After going 4-5 tracks deep into this album, I’ve got to say that GF,ID might be one of the year’s best releases. There’s a striking amount of consistency from all these songs. This is the first Ross album I’ve been waiting hand and foot for since…well, ever.

Rick Ross featuring Wale & Drake – Diced Pineapples

Ricky Rozay’s forthcoming LP, God Forgives, I Don’t,  is doused in an ocean of hype right now, with leaked-track-after-leaked-track amplifying the urgency and anticipation for it to drop.

The latest audio-drizzle comes by way of the track “Diced Pineapples” featuring MMG comrade Wale and Wheel-Chair Jim–I MEAN… Drake.

Sorry for the half-hearted jokes, but all B/S aside, the track is banging and all present on the mic show up big. Did I mention how quickly you’ll get consumed by the beat… and how the drums don’t even drop till a minute after the start of the song??? YEAH. I’m feeling that good about this.
