R.I.P. Chris Lighty

As it saddens me, and many others around the world, founder and CEO of Violator Management and Records, Chris Lighty, has passed away from what is being reported as a self-inflicted gunshot wound this morning. Violator has managed many of the Hip Hop community’s biggest stars, including 50 Cent, Diddy, Swizz Beatz, Missy Elliot, Q-Tip, Three 6 Mafia and Big Pun.

Thank you, Mr. Lighty, for helping organize some of the greatest careers this genre of music has and ever will see.

May you rest in POWER.
